His professional journey encompasses prominent roles at premier consulting firms, where he honed his skills in not just advising but also actively operating businesses to drive tangible outcomes. Particularly adept in the venture capital and private equity landscape, Simon has spearheaded commercial and revenue growth endeavors in small to mid-market businesses, focusing on pragmatic impact delivery throughout the investment lifecycle.

Before joining Jenson Funding Partners, Simon established Fortius Partners, a boutique & consortium of operators to support clients’ business building endeavours in a most effective & efficient way. Before setting up his own firm, Simon held pivotal positions at renowned consulting entities such as Strategy& and SparkOptimus, a McKinsey Digital spin-off. His consultative prowess benefitted leading brands like Unilever, AkzoNobel, and eBay, where he provided strategic counsel on digital transformation and commercial efficacy.

Prior to his consultancy ventures, Simon immersed himself in the TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) sector, notably contributing to Liberty Global’s strategic expansion endeavors. His role involved meticulous M&A deal assessment & execution, including the landmark acquisition of Virgin Media, coupled with comprehensive market analyses to fortify Liberty’s competitive edge.

Armed with an MSc. in Finance from VU University Amsterdam, Simon’s academic prowess is complemented by his global exposure through academic pursuits across various universities & countries, including Australia, South Korea, The Netherlands, UK, Germany, and Belgium.
