Katie Henry

Katie Henry serves as the Operations Manager at Jenson Funding Partners, having joined Jenson in 2014. In her capacity, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the business whilst providing crucial support to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), collaborating closely with both current and potential portfolio companies.

Additionally, to Katie’s role overseeing operations she is a vital member of the dealflow team, Katie plays a key role in sourcing opportunities, conducting screenings of applicant companies, establishing and nurturing relationships, coordinating and sustaining the momentum of the dealflow process, and overseeing all aspects of due diligence and the post-investment procedures.

Katie is deeply committed to the mission of broadening access to venture capital funding. She is particularly dedicated to demystifying the funding process, aiming to make it more approachable and less intimidating. Her passion lies in ensuring that important innovations are discovered and that entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds receive the recognition and support they deserve.

Boasting a diverse background in various sectors, Katie has previously contributed to a major development project at DP World London Gateway, worked at the European headquarters of a software company, and initiated her career at TUI (formerly Thomson Holidays).

Beyond her professional commitments, Katie is a mother to two active children who share her curiosity for entrepreneurialism. Often found beside a pool, pitch or court, she enthusiastically supports her children’s interests. In her leisure time, Katie enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle by running, pursuing upcycling projects, and organizing social gatherings, both at home and in her professional sphere.
