What is ESG?

ESG stands for Environmental, Social & Governance. These are key criteria for consideration when looking at best practice in Fund Management.

Our approach to ESG

Jenson is committed to implementing ESG & PRI (Principles for Responsible Investing) best practices both within the fund management and within its portfolio companies. ESG/PRI principles are inherently imbedded into Jenson’s values and company culture and have been since inception.

Guiding Principles

Sustainable Disclosure Regulation (SDR)

In early November 2021 the Chancellor, Rt. Hon Rishi Sunak set out his vision for the UKs version of SFDR (Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation) in the “Green Financing Roadmap”

What is the SDR: The SDR is the UK’s sustainability disclosure framework designed to ensure that sustainability information flows into the real economy in order to empower investors and consumers to make financial decisions which align with their values. A discussion paper on SDR disclosures will be launched in November 2021 and the requirements are unlikely to be in place for at least a further two years, likely in Q1 2023, before legislation is put to Parliament.

Principles for Responsible Investing (PRI)
