Cesar joined Jenson Funding Partners in 2020 as Strategy and Development lead.
Since joining Cesar has played a pivotal role in the launch of new funds, in particular the Aurora I Fund. Cesar has played an integral role of setting up the Fund’s strategy, preparing and refining the pitch decks then taking it out to organisations and investors creating engagement. His expertise extends to tax-efficient products and the management of LP/GP funds whilst establishing partnerships with investors.
In his role Cesar has developed relationships with platforms and service providers in the tax efficient SEIS & EIS space and has built strong relationships with our investor and adviser community.
A graduate of Babson College (US), Cesar started his professional journey as an analyst in a UK based hedge-fund as an analyst for the European Long/Short fund. Subsequently, he co-founded Gerep Prevention Sante, France’s first employee assistance program, established through a strategic joint venture with a leading US operator.
Prior to joining Jenson and in his capacity at Verdier & Co, a London corporate advisory firm, Cesar lead the partnerships with private equity and venture capital clients. His efforts focused on fostering growth and generating deal flow for funds operating in both the UK and France.
Cesar previously led IPEM (International Private Equity Market) in the UK, concentrating on private equity and venture capital funds. The company is now Europe’s largest marketplace platform for small and mid-cap PE funds. Cesar was the first employee at Divido, a leading UK-based Fintech with backing from DN Capital, Mastercard, ING, raising in excess of £30 million. Within Divido, he directed efforts in business development, strategy, and spearheaded the international expansion into the French market.
